Protect East Meath can now confirm that the Old Mill site in Julianstown has been entered on the Derelict Sites Register by Meath County Council after threats of legal action forced the local authority to take steps to require the owners to carry out works to clean up the site which has been derelict for more than 10 years.

Meath County Council is now required to keep the register updated with the actions taken by it to bring the dereliction to an end.
