Meath Co Co has opened a “non-statutory” consultation into proposed routes for a cycle path stretching from Mornington to Drogheda. The current consultation seems to be aimed only at route selection.

The project will be subject to a further statutory consultation when final plans are submitted, most likely to be to An Bord Pleanála given the proximity of the route to the protected habitats along the Boyne and Meath coast.
